The Art of the Coil
This charm features a precision coiling technique where the gold-accented cord is wrapped tightly around the core to create those dense, rhythmic ridges at the neck. To lock the 14mm focal bead in place, I transition into Reinforced Square Knots. These knots provide a flat, stable architecture, ensuring the stones stay secure and the 12cm charm maintains its shape even under the stress of daily bag carry.
High-Chatoyancy Selection
Every bead is hand-picked for its “eye”—the sharp band of light that moves across the surface. By pairing the oversized 14mm stone with the smaller 8mm beads, I’ve created a visual contrast that highlights the natural mineral textures of the workshop.
