Why “Snake Knots”?
In my workshop, the snake knot is one of my favorites to tie. It’s dense, tactile, and has a subtle rhythm to it. It takes patience to get the tension just right so the cord feels like a solid, smooth extension of the stone.
About the Amethyst
I don’t use “perfect” glass-like stones. I look for Amethyst with character. You’ll see natural clouds and tiny internal fractures inside these beads—that’s how you know it’s real earth-made crystal. The deep violet hue is calming, meant to contrast beautifully with the natural sand-colored cord.
